Biography
Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg is a Swedish esports legend widely regarded as one of the greatest Counter-Strike players of all time. Born on June 10, 1988, f0rest's career spans over two decades, from the early 2000s to his retirement in 2024, making him one of the most enduring figures in competitive gaming.
His professional journey began in 2005 with Begrip Gaming, where he won the World e-Sports Games Grand Finals in South Korea. This victory marked the start of an illustrious career that would see him compete at the highest levels of Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
F0rest is best known for his long stints with Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP). With Fnatic from 2006-2010, he helped establish the team as a dominant force, winning numerous tournaments including the Intel Extreme Masters III in 2009. His most celebrated period came with NiP from 2012-2020, where he was part of the legendary lineup that achieved an unprecedented 87-map win streak in CS:GO's early competitive scene.
Throughout his career, f0rest has accumulated over $750,000 in prize money and won a CS:GO Major at ESL One Cologne 2014. He's been ranked in HLTV's Top 20 Players of the Year multiple times (2013-2016) and was inducted into the HLTV Hall of Fame in 2025.
