Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund is a retired Swedish professional Counter-Strike player widely regarded as one of the greatest to ever play the game. Born on May 29, 1990, in Sweden, GeT_RiGhT began his professional career in 2003, competing in the early days of Counter-Strike 1.6 before transitioning to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) in 2012.

GeT_RiGhT's career is defined by his exceptional rifling skills and his ability to perform under pressure. He rose to prominence with Fnatic in the late 2000s, winning multiple international tournaments and establishing himself as one of the best players in the world. His most iconic period came with Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), where he formed a legendary trio with teammates f0rest and Xizt.

The Swedish rifler achieved remarkable success with NiP, including a historic 87-0 map win streak on LAN that remains unmatched in competitive Counter-Strike history. He won the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major, the most prestigious tournament in CS:GO, and reached four additional Major finals throughout his career. GeT_RiGhT was ranked the world's best player in both 2013 and 2014 by HLTV, and has accumulated 10 MVP medals from various tournaments.

Beyond his Major victory, GeT_RiGhT's trophy cabinet includes wins at DreamHack Winter 2013, ESWC 2012, and numerous other high-profile events. He was known for his aggressive playstyle, particularly his ability to create space for his team and secure crucial opening kills. His signature AK-47 and AWP skills made him a versatile threat in any situation.

In 2020, after over seven years with NiP, GeT_RiGhT joined Dignitas alongside former NiP teammates. However, health issues, including his battle with Crohn's disease which he was diagnosed with in 2012, led to his retirement from professional play on January 16, 2021. Throughout his career, he earned approximately $507,608 in prize money.

GeT_RiGhT's partnership with f0rest stands as one of the longest and most successful in Counter-Strike history, spanning over 3,900 days across multiple teams and game iterations. His impact on Swedish Counter-Strike and the broader competitive scene helped establish the region as a dominant force in the game's history. After retirement, he continued to contribute to the community as a full-time streamer, sharing his expertise and entertaining fans with his charismatic personality.
