Originally founded in October 2019 as Kingzone DragonX, the organization underwent several rebrandings before settling on its current name. In League of Legends, DRX made history by winning the 2022 World Championship as a fourth-seed team, becoming the first Play-in team to claim the Summoner's Cup. This remarkable victory showcased the organization's ability to compete at the highest level despite being considered underdogs. The team's roster has featured notable players like Deft, Chovy, Pyosik, and more recently, Rich, Vincenzo, Willer, Ucal, Jiwoo, and Andil.

DRX expanded into VALORANT in 2022 by acquiring the former Vision Strikers roster. The team quickly established itself as a dominant force in the Pacific region, consistently performing well in international tournaments. Their VALORANT roster has included talented players like MaKo, stax, Rb, BuZz, and Zest, with current players such as free1ng, HYUNMIN, BeYN, and Hermes continuing the organization's competitive legacy.
