Paper Rex

Paper Rex is a Southeast Asian esports organization based in Singapore, founded in January 2020 by Harley "dsn" Örwall, a legendary Counter-Strike player, and Nikhil "nikH" Hathiramani, founder and chief editor of CSGO2ASIA. The organization was built at the crossroads of entertainment, competitive esports, and merchandise, quickly establishing itself as a pioneering force in the Asian esports scene.

The team's journey in VALORANT began in February 2021 when they announced their roster featuring Tommy, mindfreak, f0rsakeN, Benkai, and d4v41, with alecks as coach. Paper Rex made history as the first Southeast Asian organization to reach a Grand Final of an international event at VCT Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen. They've since become one of the most successful VALORANT teams in the Asia-Pacific region.

Paper Rex is renowned for their unique team dynamic where all players contribute to in-game leadership rather than having a traditional IGL (In-Game Leader). This collaborative approach has become their signature style and has led to numerous international successes. The team reached their pinnacle in 2023, becoming the first Singaporean organization to surpass $1 million in earnings and sharing the title of second most-earning organization that year.

Their achievements include multiple VCT Pacific League titles, several international Masters appearances, and a historic run to the finals of VALORANT Champions 2023. The organization has also expanded beyond VALORANT, fielding competitive teams in other titles while maintaining their flagship VALORANT roster as their crown jewel.
