
T1
T1 is a South Korean esports organization operated by T1 Entertainment & Sports, a joint venture between SK Telecom and Comcast Spectacor. Founded in 2004 as SK Telecom T1, the organization has become one of the most successful and decorated teams in esports history.
The team's League of Legends division, which would become their flagship, was established in 2012 when SK Telecom acquired the roster of Eat Sleep Game. From there, T1 embarked on a legendary journey that would redefine competitive League of Legends.
T1's golden era began in 2013 when they won their first World Championship, establishing themselves as a global powerhouse. This success was followed by three consecutive World Championship titles in 2015, 2016, and 2017, making them the first team to achieve such a feat. Their dominance continued with additional World Championship victories in 2023, 2024, and 2025, giving them an unprecedented six world titles.
The organization has also claimed ten LCK championships, two Mid-Season Invitational titles (2016 and 2017), and the 2024 Esports World Cup. T1's legendary status is built on a foundation of consistency, with the team maintaining elite status for over a decade through various roster iterations.
Throughout their history, T1 has been home to some of the greatest players in League of Legends history, most notably Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok), widely regarded as the greatest player of all time. Beyond League of Legends, T1 has expanded into multiple esports titles including Valorant, where they won the 2025 Masters Bangkok, as well as Overwatch, PUBG, and other competitive games.
